ITKAŽ is Pleased to Present the Kids Helping Kids

Demonstration at the Taste of Chicago

Chicago, IL--On July 30, 2005, the “Kids Helping Kids” program of the International Traditional Karate Association (ITKAŽ) will be giving a demonstration at the Taste of Chicago, downtown by Buckingham Fountain from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM.

ITKAŽ Kid Helping Kids is an exclusive program which teaches youth character education, leadership, citizenship and personal development through ITKAŽ Martial Arts training and philosophy.

The elite members of the “ITKAŽ Kids Helping Kids” program go above and beyond.  It is designed for selected advanced Karate students to assist teaching, perform demonstrations, and compete in local, national and international competitions.  ITKAŽ takes pride in its Kids Helping Kids gold medal winners in many national and international competitions.

Every Memorial Day Weekend, ITKAŽ and Wright College sponsors their annual ITKAŽ International World Friendship Karate Tournament in Honor and Memory of Sima and Zahra Bambouyani who were killed in the earthquake that struck Bam, Iran in December of 2003.  This spectacular competition benefits Bam earthquake orphans.

Kids Helping Kids has helped raise money for the Children’s Memorial Hospital, Bambouyani Bam Earthquake Relief Foundation for Orphan Children and more.

Thursday’s demonstration will showcase meditation as a part of karate training, women’s self-defense, children board breaking and defense against multiple attackers.

ITKAŽ is now selecting a limited number of children to try out for the Kids Helping Kids Program.  To join this exclusive program, please contact the ITKAŽ Headquarters. Please hurry, limited time and space available.

ITKAŽ also provides programs in karate, mediation and personal development for all ages. Benefits driven from this unique program are concentration, focus, stress management, weight loss, leadership skills, self discipline, self confidence, self esteem and most important of all a positive mental attitude.
