ITKAŽ is Pleased to Present the Kids Helping Kids
Demonstration at the Taste of Chicago
Chicago, IL--On July 30, 2005, the “Kids Helping Kids” program of
the International Traditional Karate Association (ITKAŽ) will be
giving a demonstration at the Taste of Chicago, downtown by
Buckingham Fountain from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM.
ITKAŽ Kid Helping Kids is an exclusive program which teaches youth
character education, leadership, citizenship and personal
development through ITKAŽ Martial Arts training and philosophy.
The elite members of the “ITKAŽ Kids Helping Kids” program go above
and beyond. It is designed for selected advanced Karate students to
assist teaching, perform demonstrations, and compete in local,
national and international competitions. ITKAŽ takes pride in its
Kids Helping Kids gold medal winners in many national and
international competitions.
Every Memorial Day Weekend, ITKAŽ and Wright College sponsors their
annual ITKAŽ International World Friendship Karate Tournament in
Honor and Memory of Sima and Zahra Bambouyani who were killed in the
earthquake that struck Bam, Iran in December of 2003. This
spectacular competition benefits Bam earthquake orphans.
Kids Helping
Kids has helped raise money for the Children’s Memorial Hospital,
Bambouyani Bam Earthquake Relief Foundation for Orphan Children and
more.
Thursday’s
demonstration will showcase meditation as a part of karate training,
women’s self-defense, children board breaking and defense against
multiple attackers.

selecting a limited number of children to try out for the Kids
